I am a woman who cannot wait to retire. That should not be too long now. I have grown daughters and they have children. Some of my grandchildren are grown. I live in CT and I actually like it now because I am back around family and a few friends. I have an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. I love life. I love the blue skies and the gray skies. I love learning to know people. I love being part of a profession that works with young people. I love being me. I am very comfortable in my own skin. I l am happy to be who I am to those around me. Cooking is fun "sometimes". Shopping is fun "sometimes". Traveling is fun always. Weekend getaways are great.
I believe in being honest with others if I am to expect honesty. I love the Lord Jesus Christ my savior. If it had not been for the love of God who knows where I would be today. I am really happy to make others smile and laugh. I am a nurturing person so I will do my best to take care of someone who finds it important to take care of themselves and me.
I think it is important to be able to talk with someone about topics that interest each other. I believe it is amazing to sit and watch a baseball game, or basketball game, or football game with someone. Even if we are rooting for opposite teams.
I think family is amazing and I will always be close to them as far as being in their lives and them in mine.
I want to meet someone who also believes in honesty, being open minded, and being willing to compromise when it does not conflict with ones beliefs or minimizes their feelings. All feelings are valid whether we agree with them or not. All people are worth loving. I want to love someone the way that I want to be loved.
