The majority over the age of 50 have either been divorced, widowed, estranged, and betrayed. Each have had bad relationships or never ending loving relationships (which are hard to duplicate). And because of the pain we've all experienced, we tend to be doubtful, fearful, stubborn, set in their ways, uncompromising and untrustworthy, and have somehow found comfort in being alone. But then there are times when they long for companionship (confused whether permanent or temporary)These feelings I understand to well. Fortunately, After all these years I've learned from my experiences good or bad, to no longer carry the load of others, release my past emotional baggage and decide what I actually want in this last chapter.
