I am a retired widow with 3 adult children and a set of twin granddaughters. My life goals center around being a blessing to others. I am very philanthropic with my time and totally devoted to family and friends. I am not a fanatic about anything, but I do like to cook, bowl, travel (especially cruises), dance, shop, decorate. engage in moderate exercise and attend the theater and concerts. Just cuddling at home in front of the fireplace with some soulful music or a good movie works any time. I do not drink alcoholic beverages or smoke. I am an extremely sensitive, truthful, and giving person who is respectful of individual differences of people. As a result of my professional career serving individuals with special needs for more than 30 years, I realize how precious life is and choose to find joy in every day while recognizing my blessings. I am not a religious zealot, but I am spiritual, and faith based. I do tend to stress cleanliness, hygiene, time management and romance.
I enjoy R&B, jazz, blues, and gospel. Cultural, Afrocentric, and contemporary art are interests of mine. I have become devoted to learning the MAAT and about the history and diaspora of people of African descent. Though I like to cook, I will never refuse eating out. I believe my strengths entail being sociable, energetic, honest, light-hearted, supportive, patient, flexible, outgoing and articulate. My most challenging attributes are that I am not an avid reader, I can be somewhat impatient when it comes to completing tasks and I am not as committed to a personal fitness routine as I want to be. I welcome someone who would encourage me with my fitness routine challenge!

I am searching for someone who is respectful, spiritual, trustworthy, able to communicate effectively, shows compassion, law-abiding, spiritual, gentlemanly/gallant, non-argumentative, and well groomed.
