69 yo retired female administrator of British Caribbean background fmwith an engaging personality seeking male with similar interests such as ... love to laugh at life complexities; enjoy great conversations, meeting new people and dinner get-togethers; cooking and baking for family; love soul and classic Reggae music, and just a little classical music i.e. Strauss's Waltzes and The Three Tenors; currently absorbed with reading engrossing crime novels, particularly, Harlan Corben, Ruth Rendell and Anthony Horowitz.
My family consist of a brother, niece and nephew who live in South East London. For my special birthday next year, looking forward to spending it in Atlanta (with my cousin) and Jamaica. I am currently researching how to write a novel and brushing up on my English Grammar so as to improve my writing technique.
Although I spent most of my working life as an administrator in marketing, housing and local government, I spent the four years before COVID, as a home baker, providing a weekly tea time service to a medium sized business in central London. I enjoyed so much the process of planning the menu, baking the cakes and serving a traditional tea and coffee. It was disappointing that it had to end, as it allowed me to be both creative and interact with a variety of people.
