Born and raised in York Pa. I love to travel. I'm a down to earth, small town, country girl, type. Small things in life matters to me. A glance from across the room with a smille, a kiss on my forehead and or just a hug for comfort. The simpler the better. Creating a romantic moment sitting by a open fire means more to me then a night out on the town at a fancy restaurant with all the bells and whistles. ( Dont get it wrong, I like that too, but if I had to pick).Taking a drive in the country and watching the sunset. Or raising with the sun, feeling the crisp mist of the ocean breeze as you watch the sun come up over the ocean. I'm comfortable with snuggling and watching a movie at home, as well as yelling for my favorite sports team, in the passion of the game. Nothing wrong with a restaurant however, every day living, a home cook meal is better. I like cookouts and grilling, (sometime even without it being a party). Don't mind family and friends around, I think we all should pay it forward and give a helping hand. I'm a happy fun go lucky type of person with a great sense of humor. I love to laugh. I like Comedy Clubs, comedy shows, and comedy movies. I also like other kinds of shows and movies, but I don't like the dark side..... blood and horror movies and all that mess. I like all kinds of weather.....a fresh snowy morning is so crisp and clean. A hot summer day sitting by a lake is just as great. Here in Pennsylvania, the changing of the leaves in the fall or the smell of apple blossoms trees in the Spring. All around weather is beautiful.
Some may say, I'm somewhat of a hopeless romantic, I still believe in love. Some may say I'm a little old fashion. I believe in respect, honesty, and privacy. I have a ****** Degree in Psychology. One child, ( a son,) a daughter in law and four grandchildren. I'm retired, however, I'm the president of York City School District Board. I'm God fearing, but not a bible thumper. Love all kinds of sports. Love and respect my elder, as well as children. I'm a people person, everyone has a chance for my respect, until you cross me. ( I just leave you alone then). Life is to short for lies and games, I try to avoid those types of people. I still march will my high school alumni band ( I'm a majorette ). I believe everything can be fixed if you're honest and talk about it. We are humans and humans to make mistakes. I feel as though it's a learning process. However you don't keep making the same mistake over and over and over and over and over and over again. At that point it's just a handicap and you really don't care. Again those are the people I like to stay away from. I wear my heart on my sleeve but I watch out for the bad guys.
