I love music, any kind of music - old school, r&b, soul, jazz, blues, funk, rap, rock, country, gospel, etc. I enjoy watching a good movie and recently watched Harriet, Loving, Bessie, The Sun is also the Star, and Queen and Slim. I love watching the Chi, Homeland, This is Us, The Outsider, Married to Medicine, Black Ink Crew The Oval, Black Love, and American Soul. I enjoy going to movies, the theater, concerts, plays and night outings too. I enjoy reading a good book but mainly self-help books. I read the newspaper daily. I am a MSNBC and CNN fan. I love sports including football, baseball, basketball, golf, etc. I love to travel and have been out of the country (i.e. Paris, Morocco, East Germany, Bahamas, Antigua, *****ican Republic, Jamaica, St. Bart, St. Marten, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, etc. to name a few.) over 30 times. I have an advanced degree and have been gainfully employed at a local University for over 16 years. I am a Kappa. My daughter recently graduated from Spelman College and is currently in graduate school at Columbia University.
