Hello! How are you? My name is Derrick. I like your profile, we have somethings in common. I’m retired Air Force and ex firefighter. Moved to Atlanta at the end of 2019 from Germany for a better job opportunity, and to be closer to family. I loved living in Europe. I have been living there on and off for over 26 years. My siblings told me I might want to think about coming to the states for a little, and here I am. Things happen for a reason, so I’m looking at it as a blessing. A little about me: like golf, cycling, fishing, walking, cooking, (trying to teach myself how to bake for fun), swimming, concerts, festivals, comedy shows or just about anything outdoors. Cooking is relaxing to me, I currently use my mother as my taster. So maybe we can teach/learn from each other. My siblings think I eat a little to healthy for them, as I only eat fowl or fish. I don’t judge anybody else on what they eat. I’m sure I can cook any meat for whom ever. I love traveling (I’m well traveled) and going off the unbeaten road for that cultural experience. (Have so many funny travel stories as a young man coming from Mississippi). I love places with a beach as I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico. I’m looking for my best friend, a travel partner and my ride or die. Someone to share living life to the fullest with. Where we help each other grow. I’m a simple and honest.
