I think I missed my calling. For 20+ years I worked from a cubical, after retiring for a few years I went back to work in a totally different arena. Hospitality and I love it; for hours a day I get to talk to adults who just want to have fun. I continue to be amazed at the power of a smile. I find all people interesting and enjoy getting to know what makes them tick. To my surprise I'm very good at what I do, even the most difficult people allow me in after a few strokes. Art is my first passion, I told myself that I would engulf myself into all that is art after retirement and that the plan. I've created a few pieces and got some interest but I don't quite know how to navigate the field....yet. I'm a lot more courageous in these golden years; more willing, inviting and flexible "IS THAT WISDOW, I'VE STUMBLED UPON". Well now I'd love to know where this is leading.
