"Life's a dance" is my mindset having been a classical dancer, who is enthusiastically back on the dance floor, enjoying ballroom dance. I also enjoy being both a student and teacher of yoga. All of this keeps me balanced while loving my life in retirement in Sarasota, after a long career in interior design.
I have achieved a level of success over the years as a published (award-winning) author. A number of m books, both for adults and children, chronicle my experiences raising guide dogs.
I distinguish myself from other women because I like to "hang out with the boys." I say this as a mother of two grown sons with whom I am very close and see whenever I can, despite our geographic distance from one another. My best friends are an integral part of my life. I enjoy seeing the gals often, drinking wine and laughing --always, laughter (the best medicine!). If you ask me to describe who I am, my characteristics include being independent, confident, kind, and very much a home girl, appreciating the love and warmth of my Gulf Coat home, bringing people into it to enjoy a good meal.
While my personal style is classic casual, I have the ability to morph into a sensual woman who can cress to the nines and still wear high heels without having to pay a visit to the podiatrist the next day. Recently widowed, I welcome the opportunity to share quality time with a man who loves life as much as I do and can learn to love me as well. I am easy to talk to, love to be challenged when it comes to thought-provoking topics, easy on the eyes, and appreciate a man who is kind, caring, affectionate, lusty, loyal, positive, sincere with a high moral compass. Integrity, integrity, integrity.
Walking on the beach, holding hands, enjoying wine, a good cuddle, movie and romance are all the perks enjoyed when a couple has the right chemistry together. Love makes you whole.
