I Would Describe Myself As

I am a recent Widow, but Years taking care of my spouse. I'm seeking to once again begin to come out of the caretaker mode and into the self care mode. I like days in the Park, cooking together, Football and Basketball, JAZZ, open conversation, quiet times. NOT MUCH into IMMEDIATE INTIMACY. I am a True Believer in My Savior and attend Church regularly, I am also a Sinner, falling short, SOMEWHERE! I am not against Clubs or Bars, but not a person of frequency, I prefer Home gatherings with Family and Friends. I can be moody at times and prefer solitude in order to not impose upon others. Independent, employed and self sustaining. Homeowner, with my 3 Children and 2 of my 4 grandchildren living with me and we are quite the dysfunctional but very LOVING Family. The dysfunctional part comes from them believing that I am OLD FASHIONED, "old school"!
Praise God, I'm in pretty decent Health, but because of Paradental disease, I am anxiously waiting for my "George Washington's", my dentures to finally be completed. I LOVE GOOD FOOD! Can't wait to once again be able to eat fried chicken and bacon 🤣. Once I feel comfortable, I can be overbearing in conversations, which I think comes from not being able to have one with my deceased Husband, as a result of the Dementia.
